A BROTHER’S REVIVAL Music of The Allman Brothers and More- Levoy Theatre

Levoy Theatre @ 126-130 N. High St., Millville, NJ 08332

A Brothers Revival with Allman Brothers / Black Betty Bassist, David “Rook” Goldflies There is one band with the musical roots to carry on the music and spirit of the Allman Brothers Band; that band is A Brothers Revival. Former Allman Brothers’ bassist (78-82), and bandleader of A Brothers Revival, David “Rook” Goldflies spent years touring and performing with Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Butch Trucks, and Jaimoe. With the Allman Brothers, as well as Dickey Betts and Great Southern, David toured the U.S. and Europe and learned first-hand how the Allman Brothers sound was created. He performed for crowds as large as 100,000 people in arenas such as Soldiers Field and Mile High Stadium and on television shows like Saturday Night Live, Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert, and Solid Gold. Rook received a Grammy nomination for the Allman Brothers instrumental “Pegasus” from Enlightened Rogues; a Billboard Top 10 certified Gold album. David is recognized by many fans as one of the Allman Brothers‘ most dynamic bass players, with his playing akin to the aggressive style of the original Allman Brothers‘ bassist, Berry Oakley. Other influences include Jack Bruce, Miroslav Vitous, Charlie Haden, Stanley Clarke, and Jaco Pastorius. Joining Rook in A Brothers Revival is vocalist and keyboardist Mike Kach who toured with Dickey Betts and Great Southern for more than a decade. Mike was Dickey’s choice to carry on the sounds of Gregg Allman’s stellar blues performances. When Mike sings the first few words of the popular show opener “Ain’t My Cross to Bear,” it’s clear that Mike has a gift that brings people back to when they first heard Gregg Allman’s unique voice. Rook leads A Brothers Revival through all the Allman Brothers‘ songs that we love: Jessica, One Way Out, Statesboro Blues, Midnight Rider, Melissa, Ramblin’ Man, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, Soulshine, Whipping Post, and a few surprises for the fans that enjoy the deep jams. These brothers perform the songs with authentic passion while paying homage to the improvisational spirit of the original band, pushing the songs to new heights. Artist Website: abrothersrevival.com

His band, Inchicore, sets the gold standard for the Irish music scene in New England and across North America. A brilliant voice and razor sharp wit make him a huge hit on the tour. THE KINGS OF QUEEN A Tribute to Queen- Levoy Theatre

Levoy Theatre @ 126-130 N. High St., Millville, NJ 08332

The Kings of Queen were formed by frontman and lead singer Emo Alaeddin after taking on a project to record the main vocals for a Queen project. After delivering over twenty Queen songs with explicit instructions to sound as close to Freddie Mercury as possible, Alaeddin knew what path lay before him. Consequently, it was time to cut his long curly locks, grow a mustache, and embody one of the greatest rockstars to ever walk the earth. His vision was to deliver the sound of Queen as we all remember it: just like the record. He realized that the best way to honor the legacy of Freddie Mercury is to find not only the best musicians in the industry, but the best vocalists too. Indeed, the four core members of the band sing their own distinctive parts of their 2-hour repertoire as recorded by Queen. What makes The Kings of Queen truly unique is that they are purists in that they do not sing to tracks. All of the music and the vocals that you hear are 100% live by the members of The Kings of Queen. The band members who complete The Kings of Queen are guitarist/vocalist Gregg Thompson, bassist/vocalist Mikey LP, and drummer/vocalist Ted Morton. Moreover, Emo Alaeddin visually brings Freddie Mercury to life with his mannerisms, movements, costume changes, and looks. If you’re looking for a Queen tribute band that is scarily similar to original icons that shaped the rock world so many decades ago, then you’ve come to the right place.
