he Vineland Historical Society is thrilled to host local author, Deborah Ein, who will be presenting her new coloring story book, Mary Had a Little Zoo: All About Pioneer Scientist Mary Treat and Her Ants, Plants, and Spiders Join us for storytime, coloring & crafts while learning about local scientist, Mary Treat! The museum will be open for a self-tour, as well. Admission: $20 per adult or adult with 1 child. $15 for each additional child. Each admission purchased will include a coloring book. Payment can be made the day of the event. Cash or PayPal. This read-aloud coloring book brings to light the story of Mary Treat, a scientist/ecologist of the 19th century who taught children and adults alike how to study and respect nature. Her story, told here in poetry and pictures, will inspire today's preschoolers and elementary-age students in carrying on the adventures of environmental study and discovery, all while coloring the world around them with their own imaginations. Even adults who like to color will enjoy this introduction to Mary Treat, whose contributions to the field of ecology were monumental.

Museum Open House

Vineland Historical Society Museum Open House. Saturday February 3, 2024. 1pm - 4pm. While we were closed for the month of January to prep for the new year, Saturday, February 3rd will be OPEN! Please stop out to our Open House, tour the museum and see our new exhibit, "Cast Your Ballot." With 2024 being a significant election year, we decided to dig through the archives and other collections to see what we have on local, state and federal elections. The new exhibit, titled "Cast Your Ballot" includes photos, flyers, buttons and more related to voting in Vineland. We hope to see you there!
