Wildlife Habitat Field Day (Early Earth Day)

The Landis Sewerage Authority and our partners NJ Fish & Wildlife, NJ Forest Fire Service, Cumberland County Improvement Authority, MJ Audubon Society, National Wild Turkey Federation, Woodcock Conservancy, Pinecreek Forestry, Green Thumb Reforestation & NJ Watershed Ambassadors invite your group to come out to learn about and work on enhancing our wildlife habitats with us!
Activities Include:
Wildlife Habitat Education
– Learn why wildlife and their habitats have been declining and how they can be restored in NJ.
– Learn what we, as humans need to do in order to restore these habitats.
– Learn how we will attempt to reintroduce wildlife, such as Bobwhite Quail in NJ
Wildlife Habitat Creation
– We will seed wildflowers, plant warm season native grasses, and plant over 400 seedlings during the course of the day.
– All introduced plants are beneficial to all wildlife, especially the Bobwhite Quail.
Presentations
– On protecting the environment, recycling, wildlife, and habitat creation.
Breakfast, lunch and participation gifts will be provided!
